Office of Academic Links
The Office of Academic Links serves as the University’s international relations arm. It manages international education and global student exchange programmes, and engages with overseas institutions and higher education bodies in teaching and research partnership programmes. The Office is now seeking a high-calibre candidate to join its team of professionals dedicated to the internationalisation of the University.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) leading a team to administer student exchange programmes in a region; (b) organising student services and on-campus outreach programmes; and (c) working with partner institutions and students.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) a minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the field of international higher education; (iv) an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); (v) experience in working with people from other language and cultural backgrounds; (vi) strong analytical, communication and organisational skills; and (vii) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
