The primary role of the Executive - Marketing & eCommerce Consulting - Greater China & Mongolia (GCM) is to support Director, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting in his / her functional role including but not limited to provide directions to hotels on Marketing & eCommerce guidelines, providing supports to new openings and trading hotels and ensuring all hotels’ marketing and ecommerce efforts are aligned with business objectives and delivering annual budget.

This role will ensure hotels have adequate online presence and visibility to drive online channel performance, managing SEO, PPC, retailing, website management, emerging platform hotel level communications, social media and more, as well as connecting hotels to enterprise activity. It will provide hotels with best practice guidelines across multiple subject matters and topics, while prioritizing activities that drive revenue.

The Executive will be responsible for driving increased market share and revenue through focused hotel-level activity.

What will I be doing?

As the Executive, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting - GCM, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance in marketing & ecommerce related functions for both opening & trading hotels.
  • Regular follow-up with hotels in accordance with hotel marketing plan execution, with report to Senior Manager, Marketing & eCommerce Consultation on unique cases, flagged items, etc.
  • Support Director, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting to develop a day-to-day workflow to create efficiency on hotel supporting.
  • Managing intake of hotel-level requests via phone and email including appropriate dispositioning and assigning to appropriate resource while also resolving basic inquiries across hotels.
  • Building enterprise knowledge and sharing Marketing & eCommerce consulting best practices to hotels.
  • Coordinate single-brand / cluster-hotels cross marketing activities for hotels, under the supervision of Director, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting aligned with the promotions process.
  • Lead and develop content process for hotels, to enhance the overall experience of Hilton's branded digital outlets.
  • General tactical support of SEO initiatives such as keyword research and recommendations, developing meta titles and descriptions, and optimizing for local search.

An Executive, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting - GCM is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • 0-3 years of related experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Marketing & eCommerce expertise
  • Extensive digital marketing experience
  • Strong commercial knowledge, able to articulate business performance with strategic marketing activities to deliver business objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate
  • Experience in strategically developing and executing marketing strategy plans
  • Experience in developing, leading and planning a strategy to optimize brand presence on third party sites
  • Effective communication, collaboration and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Analysis and reporting experience at regional hotel level and including web analytics
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience working in the Hospitality and/or travel industry
