 Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for managing multiple, complex data projects, across our global offices.

·       Own the engineering roadmap for all in-market products, housed in a large and complex legacy technology environment.

·       Analyze current business practices, processes, and procedures and identify future business opportunities for leveraging data management and retrieval system capabilities as well as reducing redundant data processes.

·       Lead analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential usage and impact on the business unit and organization.

·       Develop strategic best practices around design, availability, replication, security, audit and backup/recovery methodologies.

·       Work with business leadership to translate business needs into a vision for data management design.

·       Work to deliver on Product Management requirements for enterprise data integration.

Qualifications:

·       Extensive experience in core data engineering, data integration, and working with both legacy and modern technology stacks.

·       Experience in Program Management, Product Management and Product Engineering within an enterprise-level, fintech/finserv environment.

·       Experience in building Middle Office & Back Office Technology a plus.

·       Expertise in managing in-market financial services products on a large and complex set of legacy technology

·       Experience in any/all of the following: data warehousing tools, Migration & Reporting 

 Exec Manager, Data Management->> Responsible for managing multiple, complex data projects, often global in scope. Leads the design and development of the corporate information bank. Develops strategic best practices in data modeling and warehousing. Participates in developing data modeling/warehousing growth strategies and initiatives. Leads the analysis and design of data models and logical databases at the data element level consistent with the corporate architectural models. Works with business leadership to translate business needs into vision for data warehousing design. Analyzes current business practices, processes, and procedures and identifies future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities as well as reducing redundant data processes. Leads analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential usage and impact on the business unit and organization. Develops strategic best practices around design, availability, replication, security, audit and backup/recovery methodologies. Leads recruitment efforts and manages and develops teams to maximize their collective contributions. Motivates lower level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. Manages multiple data modeling/warehousing groups. Contributes to the achievement of Data Modeling/Warehousing objectives.

 

Qualifications

Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 15+ years of experience in data modeling/warehousing with related management experience, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
