Tesla Motors is looking for Environmental specialist for our GF-3 project located in Lingang Shanghai. The position is responsible for industrial/hazardous waste management and operation. The Environmental specialist reports to the Environment Manager.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position
? Develop hazardous waste / industrial waste management plan and implementation.
? Be responsible for GF3 hazardous waste operation, including registration, 5- Manifest, internal record, transportation arrangement, labels, check-out, etc.
? Be responsible for GF3 industrial waste operation, including manage 3rd party onsite service, develop management procedures, summarize recycle center data.
? Coordinate with the hazardous waste transportation/disposal vendors to ensure GF3 hazardous waste can be disposed in time.
? Manage Hazardous waste warehouse, to ensure the warehouse comply with the regulation requirements.
? Provide guidance to workshop on industrial / hazardous waste related issues.
? Be responsible for waste measurement and settle accounts.
? Other issues on waste management.

Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering or Science. Degree in Environmental engineering/science, safety engineering, or related field is desired.
? At least 3 years of experience in EHS or Environment management. Auto and EV car industry is desired.
? Good written and verbal communication in English.
? Strong coordination, organizational, interpersonal skills. Must be Team player.
? Knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulation.
? Positive attitude to take challenge from authority on regulation aspect.
? High Proficiency in Microsoft products along with ability to learn to work within multiple databases
? Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
? Ability to consistently act with integrity and credibility.
