Job Purpose / Overview
Fomentar que la cultura de sustentabilidad y protección al medioambiente sea vivida como un valor en todo el cluster, para que cada una de las actividades de la compañía tenga el menor impacto medioambiental posible.
Implementar y administrar los estándares del sistema de Gestión de Medioambiente de MARS Inc, así como las regulaciones de la legislación Argentina para asegurar el cumplimiento de los requerimientos internos y externos en lo referido a Medioambiente
Asegurar la disponibilidad de todos los indicadores actualizados del área que permita a la gerencia tomar las decisiones estratégicas futuras para el área.

What would be your key responsibilities?
- Definir junto a la gerencia el plan anual de trabajo basado en los estándares corporativos y las necesidades del site.
- Participar y colaborar en la realización de los Gap Assessment y los planes de acciones correctivas de Medioambiente del site
- Completar y mantener actualizados los indicadores de desempeño y gestión correspondientes al área de Medioambiente.
- Asegurar que los objetivos y los planes de acción del departamento de SIG están alineados con la normativa Argentina y cumple los requerimientos de los estándares de medioambiente de MARS
- Mantener actualizado las habilitaciones, permisos y certificados del sitio para su presentación a los organismos gubernamentales de aplicación.
- Acompañar en las auditorías de consultores internos y externos a Mars, así como supervisar la aplicación de los planes de acción generados a partir de estas auditorías
- Garantizar el funcionamiento de la planta de tratamiento de efluentes, minimizando los costos de transporte de lodos sobrantes y reducir el impacto sobre suelos absorbentes
- Asegurarse de que la normativa Argentina y los estándares de Mars sobre medio ambiente y residuos se tratan debidamente y sean incluidas en cada proyecto de mejora continua, renovación de producto, diseño de packaging, obras de ingeniería, etc
- Brindar formación a los miembros y los proveedores de servicios del sitio con respecto a la conciencia ambiental y los objetivos globales de sostenibilidad
- Liderar las investigaciones de incidentes medio ambientales junto a los responsables de los sectores donde ha sucedido el evento
