Job Title: English to Chinese Translator, Equity Research

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate translate assigned English language report/research documents into Chinese,

• Pay attention to fact to keep the intent and tone of the original meaning ;

• Research, check and confirm statements, numbers, company / product names and other material in written research submitted, as necessary;

• Be able to ensure the consistency between underlying arguments, financial models, and investment conclusions if needed

• Highlight and explore any content related issues with author/s as they arise, to ensure resolution

• Capable of delivering document in high quality within tight timelines in partnership with Analysts

Job Requirements

• Degree, or equivalent, in English, with excellent Mandarin language skills in both editing and writing.
• Experience in using translation tools or ability to learn and use various tools to perform translation and publishing tasks
• Minimum 3 years of Translating/Editing experience in financial institutions, specifically in equity research domain is a plus
• Strong English to Chinese translation skills
• Heightened attention to details and accuracy
• Comprehensive knowledge of international financial markets
• Ability to work under pressure effectively and able to meet tight deadlines
• Self- motivation, strong work ethics
• Proficiency in MS Office
