【Job Descriptions】

a) To teach English, English Literature and other related subjects in the international department;
b) To design syllabus, teaching plans, coursework and examination papers;
c) To organize effective class activities and maintain teaching journals;
d) To communicate with colleagues and parents about students’ issues on a

regular basis.

e) Participate in professional development, meetings, school functions and retreats.
f) Students’ age: 16-18 years old

【Qualifications for all Subject teachers】

1. Native English speaker (American, British or Canadian preferred)

2. Master degree or above in TESOL/TEFL (strongly preferred)

3. Chinese High School Teaching experience is considered as an asset, references should be included on your CV (experience in TOEFL teaching preferred)
4. Teaching certificate (CELTA, TESOL or TKT/Teaching License/Diploma preferred)
5. Being adept at providing the best possible learning process and environment for students
6. Being adept at instructing students on developing academic and non- academic skills
7. You need to have:

1) Good skills in classroom management, communication and understanding of

students’ individual study methods and needs.

2) Diverse teaching methods and the ability to inspire the students.

3) Full of love, patience, responsibility, and good teacher’s ethics and

professional conduct.

【Priorities】

1. have experience in teaching EAP

2. willing to offer optional courses (any second language courses or any other courses based on personal interest) or supervise student club
3. have experience in teaching EAP in Grade 12, college, or bridging/pathway program
