DearTaiwan is a Taiwan travel agency which aim is to build a bridge between the world and Taiwan.

We are currently seeking dedicated, energetic, creative, passionate and dynamic candidate joining us to show the world the combination of modern and tradition, culture and life here in Taiwan with the local's perspective.

How you will contribute

• Generate the words, slogans and articles, advertising contents for traveling products or relative projects.
• Proofread English documents for grammar, punctuation and spelling, as well as for sense and consistency of our brand.

• Suggest subjective changes regarding style, smoothness, and feel of translated documents.
• Ensure changes were implemented correctly on each round of revisions.
• Work quickly and meet deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail.

About you

• Strong attention to detail and a keen proofreading eye.
• A diplomatic and cooperative approach when discussing copy changes.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications

• Extensive traveling experience in Taiwan, understanding travelers’ minds and familiar with Taiwan local culture.
• Native-level English ability.
• Excellent reading comprehension skills and impeccable written English.
• At least 2 years of experience in editing, writing, document production, or language teaching.

• Computer savvy.
• Experience editing Word documents using the Track Changes feature.
• Experience of working in multiple languages (although you do not necessarily need to be able to speak any particular language).
• Candidates must be legally entitled to stay in Taiwan.
