This is a full-time role and it's not a remote work . The work routine is at the office in shanghai China
We're looking for an experienced English editor who will be responsible for editing, proofreading, localization, content/copy writing, and linguistic testing. You will work with other colleagues, as well as the development and design team to find the best writing, translation, and localization solutions for a variety of products.
Ideal candidates will have outstanding written verbal and written communication skills,
total fluency in English, be culturally fluent, and be driven to work towards a common goal.

Responsibilities
 Cultural adaptation and localization
 Proofread or edit content or copies as necessary (technical and marketing)
 Clue-based/background info-based copywriting and information reorganization
 Linguistic testing for software UIs and websites
 Communicate with Chinese teams from different professional backgrounds
 Others such as hosting or acting in videos, training course recording, etc
Requirements
 English native, and excellent writing skills in English; Proficiency with the Chinese language is preferred
 Experience in editing, localization, or communications; Experience with copywriting or translation is preferred
 Intuitive understanding of how information should be presented and structured
 Degree in translation, language studies, communications, UI/UX, telecommunications, computer science or related field
 Passionate about intercultural communication and sensitive to cultural differences
 Curious, quick learner (enjoy learning how things work), and attentive to details
 Empathetic, able to imagine user perspectives
 Flexible problem solver who approaches issues from many angles
 Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Qualify to obtain Chinese work permit and residence permit
 Hold bachelor's degree
