Job Description

Responsibilities

General Operations

  • To assist the Centre Manager in handling the daily operations of the center
  • To assist the Centre Manager in establishing good rapport with parents
  • To assist the Centre Manager in building a professional and collaborative teaching team
  • In the absence of the Centre Manager, to be responsible for the centre’s overall operations
  • To assist the management team of continuous enhancement of centre quality


Curriculum Design

  • To design, develop, plan and deliver high quality and comprehensive learning program
  • To research and analyse curriculum requirements to create a fun and engaging learning experience for parents and children
  • Work closely with marketing team to design creative and interactive learning materials and share teaching resources with English Teacher
  • Conduct regular review and feedback meetings to ensure English Teachers are informed about the curriculum matters
  • Keep abreast of changes, continuously improve curriculum and teaching materials competitive

 

Human Resources & Development

  • To inspire, motive, counsel and, where necessary, to discipline to English Teachers as appropriate
  • To ensure the proper standards of professional performance are established and maintained
  • Provide class observation feedback to each English Teacher, in line with the professional standards of teachers
  • Participate on interview panels as appropriate
  • Engage in professional conversations to identify professional development needs of teachers
  • Attend professional development activities to improve teaching skills

 

Communications & Attributes

  • To establish and maintain excellent communication throughout the centre, internally and externally
  • To build relationships with parents and to ensure excellent communication between the centre and the parent body, both individually and collectively
  • Develop and maintain effective professional partnerships with others
  • Be able to work collaboratively with other staff members
  • Strive for honesty and integrity
  • Demonstrate a high level of organisational skills
  • Have an ability to adapt to a new and changing environment
  • Be prepared to undertake additional professional development


Requirement

  • TEFL, TESOL certificate preferred
  • Experience in teaching playgroup will be an advantage
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese
  • Love interacting with children
  • Enthusiastic. Energetic
  • Creative, self-motivated, patient, responsible & good team player
