Role Summary: The Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities: ·• Prepare the mechanical specifications for purchase requisitions according to contractual requirement

• Provide technical support and quotation evaluation of vendor’s mechanical equipment, in line with project schedule
• Ensure equipment is in compliance with updated mechanical requirements, standards and codes
• Supervise site erection and commissioning of mechanical equipment
• Technical support for the manufacture, acceptance test and verification of the fabrication of mechanical equipment
• Be responsible for engineering of proprietary mechanical components, and non-standard equipment
• Prepare installation drawings and O&M manual of mechanical equipment
• Other jobs nominated by Manager, Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications/Requirements: • Good computer skills, CAD, spreadsheets

• Bachelor’s Degree, major: Mechanical Engineering, Rotating Equipment, Thermal Engineering.
• Good in English

Desired Characteristics: • MS/PhD is a plus.

• Certified Engineer or Registered Engineer is preferred
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Prior experience in power plant, air pollution control systems, or design institute preferred
