Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• With supervision, perform standard engineering assignments which are typically a significant portion of a larger project.
• Lead small project teams through the planning, execution, and completion of smaller projects or defined pieces of larger projects.
• With supervision, lead projects within Baxter’s change control management process, from initiation through closure. Change Owners assign and prepare impact assessments, develop change plans, write and execute engineering studies, while working closely with manufacturing plants, quality, regulatory, purchasing, and various scientific/technical groups.
• Communicate project status to team members and management on a regular basis.
• Provide engineering support across global manufacturing network for container/disposable products with supervision.
• Generation of technical documentation in support of project deliverables and requirements, such as protocols, reports, specifications, SOPs, and other supporting documents.
• Solve small/routine technical problems utilizing engineering tools (e.g. DMAIC, Statistical Analysis, etc.).

• Knowledge of the basic engineering principals.
• Ability to apply statistical and engineering techniques to solve problems on small projects with supervision.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to present and communication results and recommendations to project teams with supervision.
• Ability to effectively operate within and lead small cross-functional teams.
• BS in Engineering. 1 - 3 years experience.
