• 3-5 years’ experience as a software engineer developing enterprise-class solutions
• Mid-level skills/experience in data warehousing, data analysis, ETL, MI/BI, solutions development
• Mid-level skills/experience developing enterprise-class solutions using Java
• 1+ years’ experience and subject-matter expertise on BigData (Hadoop) platform – preferable Cloudera stack (HDFS, Spark, Hive, Impala, YARN, Hbase, Solr, Kafka, Flume)
• Broad source system knowledge, including Mainframe and non-Mainframe
• Mid-level skills in at least 2 of:

o Devops techniques and tools; CI/CD, Atlassian suite(JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, Bitbucket), Cucumber, Junit, Test Automation, Configuration management

o Data Science tools (Python, R, Matlab etc)

o ETL tools (e.g. IBM DataStage, Ab Initio)

o Data modelling and data visualisation tools and techniques

Desirable

• Cloud architectures and solutions - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
• Banking products and services
