As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for executing electrical engineering in nominated projects, prepare electrical project documentation, in Process Automation business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, you will make project document list of electrical part.

Your responsibilities

• Having main responsibility over the electrical engineering in specified project Executing electrical engineering in nominated projects, prepare electrical project documentation
• Reporting progress of own area to project manager
• Making project document list of electrical part
• Making Purchase Request for electrical parts
• Assisting to prepare classification documentation. Verification of compliance with marine classification society standards
• Participating FAT and internal tests when necessary, and conduct FAT analyses
• Providing technical support for commissioning, HAT and SAT
• Working together with other members in project team in order to achieve timely project execution

Your background

• Previous work experience at marine design institute, shipyard or heavy machinery
• Strong electrical design knowledge of electrical parts selection, drive selection, and electrical cabinets design
• Experience with PLC programming and commissioning
• Experience with E-Plan, Microsoft Office and SAP or similar production company supplying to the marine industry is preferred
• Experience with Marine electrical business is preferred
• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering etc.Experience with both English and Chinese technical documentation
