To expand our team and create opportunities for IT Consultant for management level, Technology Consulting (TC) Team of EY Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh Office is looking for highly motivated individuals’ people to join our diverse team of Core Consulting professionals.
Position
summary:
Deeply understand EY’s technology-related strategies, TC service offerings and actively identify opportunities;
Take accountability to review and deliver work products in IT Consulting Services and Implementation of ERP Projects
Demonstrate strong Team Leadership, Client Leadership and Engagement Leadership to deliver TC exceptional services
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
Develops, plans, and implements ERP systems.
Manage complex system implementation and migration projects, including ERP and specialized software applications
Manage vendor evaluation and selection process for software and services
Leading solution development activities for the core tools supporting data conversion processes within our ERP Ecosystem, through deployment and in production
Collaborating with process partners to define solution design, providing direction and specifications to solution developers
Performing solution roadmap planning, prioritization and ensuring execution on delivery
Contributing to the organizational decisions as part of the Data Conversion Leadership team
Leading and coaching a diverse team of talented solution developers
Supporting assigned global team members through work direction and supervision
Responsibilities:
1. Client delivery:
- Execute abbreviated, assessment projects
- Assess the underlying Business Operations and IT within an organization to make recommendations on how to achieve long-term scalability, reduce operational cost, or better support business processes
- IT Strategy, ERP software selections
- Facilitate client workshops focused on designing future state business process and requirements
- Lead system package evaluations against industry leading practices
- Generate project deliverables in timely manner
- Lead teams, while demonstrating executive presence with clients
- Interface with all levels of management both internally and at client sites
- Work with teams to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions
- Manage project economics including: track project budgets, create and deliver invoices, and manage collection process
2. Practice Development:
- Contribute to the development/enhancement of EY’s methodologies, artifacts and Practice strategy
- Coach and manage other consultants and actively participate in the performance expectation process
- Actively participate in recruiting and retaining top quality consultants
- Create and publish content to increase personal and company brand
- Assist with company recruiting
3. Business Development:
- Assist in business development meetings with prospective clients, lead preparation of proposals and statements of work for pre and post-close opportunities
- Understand investment needs and requirements and help turn those goals into concrete engagements and detailed proposals
- Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospects
- Actively build a professional network and affiliate network in the local community
- Attend networking events and business-related social events
4. Teamwork:
- Defining proper ERP implementation roles and responsibilities for your internal team
- Selecting the best enterprise solution for your business
- Choosing the right ERP vendor to guide your implementation
- Defining proper ERP implementation roles and responsibilities for your internal team
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of traditional ERP and Cloud-based ERP systems and core business processes
- Minimum of 7+ years participating in team-based, client-facing IT consulting or IT operational role
- Minimum of 5+ years executing IT system implementation projects
- Minimum of 5+ years with ERP experience;
- Has worked in an external client facing consulting role (Professional Services firm preferred) Exposure and/or experience with Change Management is preferred
- Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative experience
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications and customer relations skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Seven (7) years of ERP systems and data experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Experience with supervising and/or managing direct reports
Additional qualifications that can help you
- Experience leading solution development activities for the core tools supporting data conversion processes within an ERP Ecosystem, through deployment and in production
- Experience collaborating with process partners to define solution design, providing direction and specifications to solution developers
- Experience leading cross-functional global teams in an enterprise environment
- Experience with cloud-hosted technologies and cloud hosting providers
- Familiarity of working with manufacturing, supply chain and customer facing business functions
