Task description:

• Meeting vehicle fuel economy targets for the region
• Conducting region specific charge sustaining and charge depleting tests (region specific cycle tests)
• Meeting region specific vehicle charging targets
• Support development trips (i.e. hot, cold, altitude test trips)
• Perform other calibration tasks for electrified powertrain as needed

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Mechanical/Electrical/Control/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of total industrial experience, 3 years in automotive, and 2 years in electrified powertrain
• Skills & Competence:

• Calibration and application on engine, transmission, or powertrain of electrified vehicles especially torque path Experience with calibration tools ( INCA, Matlab Simulink, CANalyzer, CANoe)
• Experience with calibration tools (INCA, Metlab Simulink, Canalyzer, Canoe)
• Knowledge of powertrain diagnostics (OBD II)
• knowledge/understanding of basic physics and mechanics
• English proficiency and strong communication skills
