ON ARDENNE needs capable, motivated and experienced Service Engineers or Senior Service Engineers to handle service-specific tasks assigned by VON ARDENNE, like service management for vacuum coating systems (PVD) and the auxiliary equipment. The successful candidates for this position will provide high-quality services. They will support VON ARDENNE′s customers in the Greater China region. The Service Engineers will report to the Head of Service of VON ARDENNE Vacuum Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

YOUR TASKS

• Leading the mechanical team onsite for vacuum coating line installation;

• Commissioning of mechanical or vacuum components for coating line around the world;

• Conducting experiments based on experimental designs;

• Developing strategies for the detection and elimination of errors;

• Error analysis, elimination of errors, documentation;

• Providing customer training on correct handling of the installed electro-mechanical systems;

• Close cooperation with developers and assembly personnel.

YOUR PROFILE

• A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a similar qualification such as certified technician with a specialization in mecahnical engineering or mechatronics;

• Several years of experience in the vacuum system installation, commissioning and regular maintenance;

• Basic knowledge of PVD and vacuum technology;

• Well knowhow for leakage searching or pumping conception;

• Expertise in dealing with complex mechanical assembly, especial for the vacuum chamber;

• Qualification certificate for the operation of lifting equipment.
