Job Responsibilities

• Fully support the department of Center of Chemistry (COC)to achieve and maintain high level of EHS&S performance, and meet EHS KPIs.
• Work closely with the COC management to establish, development & maintain EHS&S procedures and EHS management system (eg, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001).
• Support BISPL EHS&S committee to run EHS&S&S management system successfully and support the operation to meet the corporate standard and local EHS regulation.
• Support or supervise the practices in managements of chemicals, hazardous waste to avoid incidents or non-compliance.
• Continuously promote EHS&S&S culture within the department. Promote initiatives of “Be safe”, “Be healthy” and “Be green” within responsible department.
  

Qualifications

• Education/Degree Requirements: university (master or bachelor)
• Chemical safety knowledges are must.
• Industrial R&D lab work experience is necessary.
• Professional experiences of Environment, Safety and Health.
• Good communication skills and experiences as well as strong soft skills.
• Language skills & proficiency: good English skill, both written and oral
• Required professional certificates / licences: hazardous chemicals management certification or Certified safety engineer is preferred
• Good knowledge or degree in chemistry is must.
• EHS Experience in pharma / chemical industry is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead personnel, inter-personal skills and organization skills.
• Act proactive/self-dependent, and ability to cope with stress situations.
• Skilled in the use of Office Software and Operation System (preferably Microsoft products).
