• Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in Environment/Chemical Engineering / Safety Engineering or related discipline
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS field in chemical company, with surveillance audit experience will be considered as well.
• Competency and skills:
• Be familiar with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 system, and the RCMS experience is preferred.
• The certified safety engineer is required.
• Be familiar with Chinese EHS-related standards and regulations.
• Good communication and influencing skill

Good command of English in verbal and written.

Responsible to carry out EHS operation tasks that are required by internal BASF EHS requirement and relevant governing body of local authority. Ensure the plant is in compliance to operate.

1. Implementation of EHS requirement and maintain EHS system.

2. Organize / attend the incident/accident investigation, to raise the corrective and preventive actions and follow these actions.

3. Conduct hazard identification and risk evaluation and take preventive actions to control potential hazards. 4. Arrange and conduct safety training programs/promotions to ensure that the employees, contractors are provided with adequate knowledge, skills and competencies that enabling safe working practices.

5. Responsible for the emergency response , such as develop and implement Emergency Response Plan and conduct regular drill;

6. Responsible for security and environment protection management.

7. Work with MT department to provide EHS training to contractor, monitor contractors’ EHS performance. 8. Support EHS manager on other RC codes activities as needed;
