He/She is responsible for keeping the Packing site align with all Health and Safety regulations defined by law and company internal procedures.

Core Responsibilities

• As the EHS business partner to support following related EHS activities based on Packing area.
• Conduct regular on-site hazard assessments. Identify hazards and unsafe work practices and provide recommendations on how to eliminate these issues.
• Assist in performing compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Policy.
• Responsible for the daily administration of the Project Safety Program.
• Ensure that pertinent safety inspections/reports are submitted as required.
• Conduct in house safety training.
• Organize, plan and supervise day to day EHS activities in project.
• Monitor and audits environmental, health and safety policies and practices for the sites.
• Implement health and safety procedures to ensure that our employees have a safe work location.
• Support on the Emergency Action Plan running (EAP) for LEGO.
• Provide support and administrative assistance on safety-related compliance projects, safety oversight, document management and safety auditing.
• Correct physical conditions, which are liable to cause or have caused accidents
• Undertake the investigation of accidents, incidents or near misses to determine the underlying causes. Complete the necessary forms to document these incidents immediately.

AUTHORITIES:

• To stop production if serious EHS risk is identified, escalate the problem and actively participate in it´s solving
• To issue internal procedures and processes in H&S related issues
• To recommend changes needed to prevent future risks and hazards Possibility don´t approve machine, line, object or process if it´s not according the EHS requirements. This position is not authorized to approve any expense requisition.

EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing EHS in manufacturing/ construction or other heavy industries
• Conversant with EHS laws and regulation

OTHER

• Very good communication skills
• Ability to engage with stakeholders/ customers on various levels
• Routine user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Interest and ability to build solid business understanding is a necessity.
• Ability to plan proactively and anticipate needs.
• Self-driven personality with can-do-attitude
• Very good collaboration skills, decision-making skills, and demonstrated ability to build trust
• SAP (min basic user experience)
