As an EDP Senior Production Engineer you will be responsible for supporting production line solving common issue in daily production, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Local Product Group Manager, you will support the software development for production support, such as data system set up and maintain.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting production line solving common issue in daily production. Tooling and fixture developing & maintenance
• Creating working instructions for our products. Optimizing workshop layout and creation of layout drawings, bill of material by Solid works and AUTOCAD,
• Performing continuous improvement projects regarding our production cost and quality of our products
• Arranging training according to our working instructions base on ECO, DTO
• Working with safety in our production area and taking action to avoid safety risk
• Supporting quality department for root cause analysis for quality issues
• Supporting the software development for production support, such as data system set up and maintain
• Supporting PLC/SQL program debugging during the production improvement project

Your background

• 5-year related working experience in mechanical production support
• Sound knowledge of language such as C, C#, VB and Python to develop UI or application with SQL DB, will be a plus
• Sound knowledge on Microsoft Office, Excel VBA, Solid works, Auto cad
• Being able to understand PLC programming and SQL software
• A bachelor’s degree in science, major in Manufacturing, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electric engineering
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English
• High levels of energy and self-motivation, open and direct in communication
