General Description:

As our business develops, we hope to have 1 new member in IT Department who will take main responsibility of EDI integration implementation / data mapping as well as customer on-boarding on our company's EDI platform.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain and implement existing EDI platform, including EDI routing configuration, data mapping and customer onboarding customization for inbound and outbound messages.

• Job (event & session) set up, scheduling & execution.

• Mapping of functional requirements to application supported business processes and the identification of needed enhancements to satisfy requirements.

• Setup and support for trading partners, participation in new customer on-boarding process.

• Day to day problem resolution support for invalid transactions and new transaction review and implementation.

• Support users with error corrections, item corrections.

• Demonstrate the practitioner use of UNIX and Linux scripts as means to accomplishing batch processing. Complete assigned project on time, within published scope and on budget.

• Participate in the technical design of modifications by explaining requirements in user oriented, functional terms.

• EDI data flow support, especially for carrier booking EDI support for key accounts.

• Prepare test plans, test procedures, and test data to validate that completed modification fulfill the requirements of the initiating specification.

• Maintain systems documentation, working files and presentation portfolio.

• Write training manuals and train users.

• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor / manager.

Skills Required:

• Proficient in master one of popular EDI platform, at least 2 years experience in the area of EDI development / implementation.

• Proficient knowledge of XML, Edifact Standards and X.12, technical skills in http, SOAP, ftp and AS2.

• Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Project Management experience is preferred.

• Skillful communication with internal and external clients.

• Timely email reply manner, which shall be clear and concise at all times.

Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of working experience in IT filed.

• Bachelor’s or above degree in computer science, information technology or related field.

• CET 4 or above.

• ITIL support flow organization is preferred.
