Summary:
Under supervision of E-Commerce Director and in partnership across various Divisions and the E-Commerce Global Business Development Team, this person will lead the on-the-ground management of new cross-border initiatives. Within that overarching responsibility and partnership structure, the Manager is responsible for launching new flagship cross-border stores, managing the distributor relationship and ordering process, guiding distributor marketing and promotional plans, building a data-driven sales walk with the A&P investment plan, and maintaining the content for new flagship stores. The role focuses on building consumer demand and market share and delivering sales targets with insights grounded in performance data and deep consumer, product, and market understanding.
This role will be focused on identifying ways to drive consumer consumption of the Newell Brands portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate will have strong partnering skills with demonstrated follow-through on the execution of programs to drive high share of voice. Experience should include a strong knowledge of E-Commerce and experience driving online sales.
Responsibilities:
- Distributor Management & Sales Planning: Partner with the distributor(s) to build the new cross-border flagship store activation plans inclusive of promotions, and media and A&P activation plans. Manage orders and day-to-day distributor relationship. Responsible for maintaining and driving to annual sales plan, tracking performance, and recommending plus up opportunities. Responsible for key holiday (6/18, D11, D12, 5/20) planning and execution.
- Performance Tracking & Price: Analyzes performance KPIs, consumer insights, and market data to inform sales walk, promotional/activation plan, and to recommend pricing objectives, strategies, and guardrails for key SKUs or categories. Applies pricing architecture and understanding of competitive landscape to manage price. Utilizes product, pack configurations, and brand architecture to optimize price ladder.
- Brand Building: In partnership with the E-Commerce Global Business Development Team, build and execute a local brand building investment plan to support the brands in new cross-border flagship stores. Analyze KPIs and provide local expertise to inform investment strategy.
- Manage the content required to support the product assortment. Obtain or develop approved brand and lifestyle imagery and descriptive copy as required.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for E-Commerce by introducing industry best practices, standards and innovation. Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities by brand and E-Commerce account.

2019 + 3 Years Strategy: Responsible for executing go-to-market strategy for 2019 and forward looking three years in partnership with the E-Commerce Global Business Development Team. Builds strategies for sustainable consumer recruitment and conversion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing discipline, or equivalent
- 5 years of direct and hands-on E-Commerce experience while managing others
- Knowledge of E-Commerce product flow and web store performance optimization
- Good negotiation skills, Strategic thinker, well-versed in both written and spoken English, Mandarin is a must
- Heavily involved in marketing and promotion activities
- Experience tracking performance and applying insights to optimize sales plan and investment strategy
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Fluent English
