Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Manager – Ecommerce Operations, 电子商务运营副经理
REPORTS TO: Director – Marketing, Greater China
SUPERVISES: NA

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the development and management ofecommerce business in China, including business planning, implementation and ecommerce marketing initiatives. Apart from managing operations, this role is also responsible for identifying opportunities to promote ecommerce to customers, develop and maintain strong relationship with vendors/service providers and cross-functional stakeholders for deliveringbusiness results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for implementing all ecommerce activities in strategic alignment with the company’s overall business strategy
- Coordinate with cross functions including marketing, merchandising, buying and website design/content personnel toward the accomplishment of business plan
- Responsible for managing ecommerce service provider/agency and T-mall relationship effectively to ensure operation efficiency and deliver the retail KPIs
- Work closely with internal team for improving product offerings to ensure they are right to the target customers
- Understand customers’ buying behaviors by monitoringand analyzing online customers’ patterns and trends, market competition, adjust strategies as appropriate for improving the organization’s competitive position
- Develop, plan and implement ecommerce marketing related activities including performance marketing, KOLs/ influencers partnerships, Tmall driven events and promotions
- Track, report and improve effectiveness of online marketing success and appeal
- Responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationship with new and current vendors/service providers
- Acquire knowledge about new technological developments to help keep the company’s ecommerce activities current and technologically up-to-date
- Monitor, analyze and report web service usage trends to improve functionality and increase customer satisfaction and traffic
- Identify opportunities to promote ecommerce to customers& expand customer base
- Other project and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or certificates in a Business Administration, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, or related discipline
- 5 years relevant experience in the area of ecommerce role with demonstrated proficiency in the retail industry is a plus
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Project management and analytical skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrates a high level of competence and passion for ecommerce technology and a comprehensive understanding of usability. Creative and forward-thinking. Needs to understand the ecommerce best practices as well as practical solutions to problems.
- Skilled at developing business cases and quantifying the cost/benefit of user experience enhancement projects in an ecommerce environment
- Strong business acumen particularly in the areas of retail marketing and sales with market intelligence in ecommerce
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
