Position Summary
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, innovative, enthusiastic, customer focused with strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills. They will have demonstrated commercial success in the past within the e-business environment and comfortable with the full scope of an e-commerce business. Must have skills in project management and prioritization competent in working across multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate will justify decisions and measure results through data and analytical acumen and be driven by commercial success.
Responsibilities
Shape and deliver the local strategy and tactical plan in order to exceed ecommerce revenue objectives for the China e-commerce estate.
Responsible for the full spectrum of e-commerce related activities including but not limited to sales targets, merchandise mix, operations and performance marketing.
Acquire new e-commerce customers and build the CRM database; analyze customer behavior and pattern to identify different action plans.
Work closely with internal product management team for improving product offerings to ensure they are right to the target customers
Develop with marketing team to build and implement pre-launch, launch and post-launch communication plans to drive traffic and engagement.
Monitor customer feedback and interaction with the brand; provide proposals and recommendations to improve functionality and increase customer satisfaction and traffic
On-going site optimization to maximize conversion and sales
Realize synergies with offline sales for omni-channel excellence.
Acquire knowledge about new technological developments to help keep the company’s ecommerce activities current and technologically up-to-date
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree or certificates in a Business Administration, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, or related discipline
5 years relevant experience in the area of ecommerce role
Project management and analytical skills
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrates a high level of competence and passion for ecommerce technology and a comprehensive understanding of usability. Creative and forward-thinking. Needs to understand the ecommerce best practices as well as practical solutions to problems.
Skilled at developing business cases and quantifying the cost/benefit of user experience enhancement projects in an ecommerce environment
Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
