Job Title: E-Commerce Internship
Department/Division: Business Innovation
Report to: E-Commerce Manager – Direct sales
Job Purpose:
Assist Ecommerce Manager to operate Pernod Ricard’s proprietary ecommerce website and mini app.
Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
1. Website content maintenance and data analysis (50%):
Ÿ Compile product information for website listing from multiple sources (15%)
Ÿ Upload and maintain web content and ensure up-to-date, accurate product information and pricing (25%)
Ÿ Collect, analyze data from web analytics and website back office; visualize data and create reports for decision making (10%)
Ÿ Adjust site merchandise in ream-time to improve conversion and drive sales performance (10%)
2. Consumer service and operations coordination (30%):
Ÿ Answer consumer requests, both pre-sales and post-sales via email and live-chat (10%)
Ÿ Liaise with IT, 3PL, warehouse and other departments to solve consumer requests in a timely and organized manner (10%)
Ÿ Evaluate complaint cases and suggest long-term solutions to prevent reoccurrence (10%)
3. Desk research on market trends and competitors (20%):
Ÿ Conduct ddesk research on market, industry and competitors. Summarize and report on research results
Requirements
1. Last-year student in any discipline at university
2. Strong interests in ecommerce, retail operations, data analytics and technology
3. Fluent in English and Mandarin
4. Good to have: experience with consumer service, website development, content management and web analytics
5. Fulltime commitment for 6 months, from July to December 2019. Possible to extend contract for same position after completion of internship.
