Job Summary
Territory covering: North area of Taiwan
Candidates need to fully understand the General Medicine marketplace, develop business plans for their geography and implement district sales strategies and programs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and execute a broad range of multi-channel programs designed to educate physicians and patients on appropriate use of Amgen’s General Medicine products with a primary focus on bone franchise. The District Manager will also lead the alignment of multichannel physician programs with field driven promotions to enhance the GMBU’s Integrated marketing capabilities and leading the people development. Successful implementation of marketing programs to expand osteoporosis market will also be a core responsibility of the successful candidate. This position will report to the GMBU Head.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage district teams to maximize their performance and help achieve/exceed sales and budget targets
- Demonstrate the appropriate coaching and counseling to prepare individuals for future development
- Communicate and coordinate with both district and cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, and other Business Units)
- Responsible for territory performance result including sales target, resource allocation plans and marketing program implementation.
- Engage territory KOLs, KDMs and support identified medical societies partnership.
- Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures and work practices.
- Support other activities as required by the manager.
Qualifications
- BA / BS degree
- 3+ years of General Medicine sales experience/or specialty-care sales experience
- 8+ years pharmaceutical or biotech sales and/or marketing experience
- 1+ years people management experience (or Management Development Program/ Project leading/ Mentoring/ Coaching experience)
