ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

British Council Chongqing is currently looking for Distribution Examinations Officer due to the expansion in their Exams team.

The Distribution Exams stream in China encompasses school exams, professional exams, and university exams and is a critical part of our exams business.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

Working in a team of five, you will deliver high quality examinations services for British Council Distribution Examinations (Professional, Educational and Entrance exams) in South and Southwest China through effective exam administration management, ensuring exam services are delivered in full compliance with all corporate standards and regulations set by examinations’ boards.

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT

You will be responsible for administrating a wide range of high-stake international exams of Distribution Exams stream in South and Southwest China. You will take an important role in the secure handling of confidential materials and support the development and continued optimisation of exam administration procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will have bachelor’s degree with English at Proficiency Level B2 (Aptis B2, IELTS 6.0 equivalent) and Chinese at Proficiency Level C1 (HSK 5 or equivalent). You will have minimum one year of experience in administration that required high level of attention to details and meeting strict deadlines. You will have demonstrable experience of project management as well as effective communication and engagement with children and their families.
