Summary
1,Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the hotel sales policies, department and results.
2,Participates with the GM/EAM in the elaboration of the hotel's sales standards and procedures and directly responsible for their implementation by and respect from the team members.
3,Compiles all necessary market information and prepares and presents an annual sales and marketing plan as well as mid-year estimate and update if required.
4,Plans, co-ordinates and directs all activities of the Sales Department.
5,Ensures at all time maximum yield for the property both in term of occupancy and average room rate.
6,Directly responsible for the hotel’s total revenue. Ensures maximization of this revenue by preparing market strategies and ensuring the implementation, control and distribution of those strategies through salesactivities.
7,Monitor the preparation and supervision of the monthly sales activity report and the daily sales call report.
8,Directly responsible for the distribution of accounts and ensuring maximization of sales activities by controlling both quality and quantity of sales calls and other sales activities.
9,Ensures to stay fully up to date on market conditions and make regular recommendations to the GM/EAM.
10,Presents on a monthly basis revenue targets to be achieved and ensures implementation, control and monthly assessment of the sales team regarding the sales bonus system.
11,Performs important personal sales calls and overseas sales trips.
12,Confers and secures agreements with major commercial partners.
13,Anticipates the market changes tendencies and proposes and implements promotions to ensure maximization of the hotel total revenuein a timely manner.
14,Presents the quarterly business action plan for hotel Sales, and reviewsof the previous quarters.
15,Understands the client motivation and needs and the different distribution channels and participate actively with the GM/EAM in ensuring that both the sales activities and overall product direction are matching client needs.
16,Prepares for the GM/EAM’s approval of the hotel’s rate structure and ensures full implementations and respect from the team.
17,To maximize relationship and partnership with Commune Hotels.
18,Directly responsible to ensure that the rate structure, other hotel contracts and maximization of reservations are properly loaded and generated via GDS by understanding and controlling the system.
19,Ensures with the other departments involved in generating Alila statistics do so and ensures that Alila reporting standards and deadlines are always respected.
20,Responsible for the individual performances of all sales team members.
21,Constantly develops new markets and commercial strategies to internationalize our marketing and business sources.
