Connect Biopharmaceuticals is a China-based global clinical-stage company focused on discovery and development of novel immune modulators for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and inflammation.

Responsibilities

? Leading and championing immunology projects from discovery to early clinical development.

? Developing and executing efficient strategies for target identification, prioritization and validation; review, propose, initiate, and implement new pre-clinical therapeutic antibody drug discovery and development programs in the field of Immunology and Inflammation.

? Building, coaching and managing a team of in-house scientists.

? Collaborating with MNC, CRO and academic partners; employ cutting-edge in vitro and in vivo animal and human models to advance drug discovery and development programs up to and including IND filing.

? Collaborating with clinical and business teams to support clinical studies. Leading project team meetings, and presenting updates to senior management.

? Facilitating and/or coaching team member for the writing of patents and regulatory documents. Presenting non-proprietary results on scientific conferences and publish in peer reviewed journals.

Job requirements:

? PhD in immunology or related discipline;

? 5 to 10 plus years of industrial experience, ideally in the field of immunology.

? Experience of leading a drug discovery project in biopharmaceutical companies;

? Demonstrated track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement in research, exemplified by strong publications in leading journals;

? Experience in immunology, as well as molecular and cellular biology;

? Experience or knowledge of in vivo models of immunology and inflammatory diseases;

? Understanding of fundamentals and practice of antibody discovery, engineering, and development;

? Excellent English and Chinese communication skills, as well as people organizational skill

? Enthusiasm in laboratory experimentation

职责描述

?领导和支持从发现到早期临床开发的免疫学项目；

?制定和执行有效的目标识别，优先排序和验证策略; 审查，提出，启动和实施免疫学和炎症领域的新的临床前治疗性抗体药物发现和开发计划；

?建立，指导和管理内部科学家团队；

?与跨国公司，CRO和学术合作伙伴合作; 采用先进的体外和体内动物和人体模型，推进药物发现和开发计划，包括IND申请；

?与临床和业务团队合作，支持临床研究。领导项目团队会议，并向高级管理层汇报最新情况；

?促进和/或指导团队成员撰写专利和注册文件。在科学会议上报告非专利成果，在专业期刊上发表文章。

任职要求：

?免疫学或相关学科博士;

?5至10年以上的工业经验，最好是在免疫学领域；

?在生物制药公司领导药物发现项目的经验；

?以在国际主要专业期刊上发表的文章，展示出在研究中独立的批判性思维和科学成就记录;

?在免疫学以及分子和细胞生物学方面的经验;

?免疫和炎症性疾病体内模型的经验或知识;

?了解抗体发现，工程和开发的基本原理和实践;

?优秀的英语和中文沟通技巧，以及人员组织能力；

?对实验室实验充满热情
