The Director of study tours is responsible for managing and developing the growth of new business within study tours of BE, working with the team and most prestigious institutions in the UK / US / Switzerland to develop services offered and expand on the current operations. Core responsibilities as follows:

• Manage and develop the existing study tour team

• Drive the expansion of new business for the study tour department

• Develop relationships with partnering educational institutions both existing and new options

• Work with the marketing team to ensure great marketing of the tours offered

• Support all locations through training of Study Abroad sales consultants study tour offering

• Improve and innovate the current product offering, to be market leading in the type of summer course offered

• Develop new revenue streams with the introduction of services that meet the needs of customers

• Develop the business plan for the department and deliver against the strategy

• Evaluate business processes to drive efficiency

• Introduce and develop customer service measurements

• Able to develop and manage budgets of all study tour programs for optimal performance

KPI：

• Study tour partner quality and number
• Study tour student numbers
• Department financial performance

A successful candidate has:

• Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Finance or Business; MBA preferred
• Excellent communications skills in Mandarin and English both oral and written
• Ability to develop relationships and influence with key players within the industry
• An understanding or sense of trends within International Education and particularly ‘Study Tours’
• Study Tour Project management experience
• A minimum of 5 years’working experience in the study tour business preferred
• Knowledge of the education systems of the U.K. and U.S. preferred
• Understanding of importance of brand and the key role this has in developing sustainable business
• Proven track record of success at a management level;
