Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent will assume the following:

• Lead and oversee the work of the Corporate Services Division
• Formulate the public relations strategy for the TIA to dovetail its strategic and corporate plan; steer and oversee campaigns and activities of the TIA in public relations, media relations, publicity and consumer education
• Oversee the provision of support to the TIA on matters relating to the financial management and investment of funding under the control of the TIA, including the seed money from the government, the TICF, the Travel Industry Development Fund (“TIDF”) etc
• Supervise the administration and application matters of the TICF and the TIDF
• Oversee the provision of secretariat service for the TIA Board and support functions for the Executive Office, including human resources, administration, finance, information technology, legal, corporate communications services and the administration of the Electronic Levy System
• Perform full range of managerial duties in relation to staff and resources allocated to the Division
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements

• Holder of a university degree with not less than 8 years of work experience at senior management level, preferably in sizable or public organisation(s)
• Good command of written English and Chinese and fluent in spoken English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage
• Experience in the travel industry would be an advantage
