General Description The Digital Project Manager develops and implements innovative initiatives that contribute to the branding and communication objectives of the University.

Main Responsibility and Accountability

• To research, develop and implement the XJTLU trademark strategy, in line with the University Marketing and Communications Strategy, and the University development strategy.
  

• Direct and supervise the work of Digital Content Curator, to curate and protect the content produced by XJTLU in terms of Intellectual Property Rights, reproduce and repurpose the content with deep insights in higher education which could be used for branding, marketing and communication of XJTLU.
  

• Plan and coordinate digital campaigns based on existing content to promote XJTLU via different channels (internal and external).
  

• Establish, operate and manage the XJTLU virtual TV station and Radio Station, using the on campus facilities and online channels, to focus and facilitate the internal communication of XJTLU. • Under the XJTLU Branding Strategy, to take leading role and collaborate with divisions of XJTLU to design, produce XJTLU cultural creative products.

• Such other duties, commensurate with the function of the position, as might be allocated from time to time.
  

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above, degree in marketing, journalism, media, and higher education is preferred.
  

• 5+ years of experience in working in higher education or non-profit organisation. Deep knowledge in higher education and rich experience in daily operation of university divisions is a plus.
  

• Native Chinese, fluency in English.
  

• Experience with digital media and technology, experienced in university/non-profit organisation promotion.
  

• Experienced in developing complex projects such as collateral material, videos, websites or advertising.
  

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent research and report writing skills are essential.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English and Chinese.
  

• Great presentation and interpersonal skills are also required.
  

• Proven track record in researching, planning and administering similar comprehensive programmes. Qualifications
  

• Highly productive self-starter with excellent organisational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and effectively manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  

• Excellent planner and project manager who is resourceful and analytical with a well-developed ability to research, evaluate information, plan strategies and assess risk.
  

• Well-developed interpersonal, negotiating and communication abilities; ability to work within teams, to speak publicly, to interact with different stakeholders and sectors, to gain new allies and to promote coalition work.
  

• Skilful leader with good judgment who can provide direction in planning, organising and coordinating activities and project teams.
  

• Creative and flexible with ability to develop new approaches to advance goals and objectives.
  

• Tactful and enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude; able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment under public scrutiny.
  

• Ability to think strategically, solve problems and take responsibility for decisions; welcomes opportunities for feedback and is “coachable.”
