Digital Natives, Industry Lead – Oracle Digital Cloud (Korea)

 

Oracle Digital Prime Cloud (ODPC) is a Cloud (OCI) sales organization, which covers vast broad-market segment of non-named accounts, inclusive of both enterprise and mid-market customers. ODPC team takes pride in helping customers of all sizes to deliver digital transformation, fueled with business innovation and exceptional competitive value. With OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), our customers benefit by enabling fastest pace of innovation, highest performance and security levels at best cost of ownership.

To meet booming market demand and accelerate cloud journey of our digital native customers we’re setting up Digital Natives specialist team to address this rapidly evolving segment in a targeted fashion and drive digital transformation of our customers through meaningful engagements with C-level executives, IT heads, architects and developers. As an Industry expert for Digital Natives, you’ll engage directly with CEOs, CIOs and executives of startups, digital business such as FinTech, EduTech, Digital Media, E-Commerce, Gaming companies and will be keenly focused on delivering on the company’s commercial objectives.

 

The lead we’re looking for will have the capability to drive sales outcomes, while operating in business development fashion and supporting ODPC sales organization in establishing and progressing meaningful customer engagements. The right candidate will have very strong consultative sales skills, great cloud architecture/IT solutioning background and exceptional business acumen. In addition, he/she will be extremely comfortable in highly collaborative matrix environments and loves to innovate.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver/exceed sales goals to support OCI’s continued growth in Digital Native segment
  • Drive Oracle presence in a regional digital native ecosystem, including third parties, venture funds and private equity companies, and deliver results by onboarding Digital Native companies to OCI
  • Be a Digital Native thought leader internally and externally, exhibit a deep understanding of macro trends, emerging & evolving business models, and the ability to articulate Oracle’s competitive value for them
  • Play indispensable role in establishing meaningful engagements with top Digital Native businesses and progressing those innovatively, linking required resources and teams
  • Engage customers proactively with Cloud architecture/solution discussion
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive Oracle brand reputation in Digital Native segment
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Programs teams to drive compelling messaging to Digital Native sectors and interconnected Go-To-Market initiatives

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 15+ years’ experience of business development with at least 3 years in Cloud technologies
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and solutions such as containerized architecture, Multi cloud deployment, AI/ML, Analytics, Integration etc.
  • Proven track record of dealing at CEO/CXO level particularly within Digital Native segment and the startup world
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure demands from Digital Natives and competitive mapping of top Cloud players
  • Proven ability to open new customer relationships, navigate customer influence map, build strong relationships at the executive level AND drive internal ecosystem to deliver progression/closing engagements
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with a strong focus on collaboration
  • Ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
