Digital Marketing Specialist (Programmatic Buying)

Summary -EyeBuyDirect is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist (Programmatic Buying) to assist their Acquisition and retention (A&R) team. This position is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on automated ad campaigns. The Digital Marketing Specialist embraces change, enjoys coming up with hypotheses and testing them out, has an innate comfort in mathematics, and is an avid learner, able to synthesize outside information or ideas and apply them to ad campaigns. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the programmatic manager and A&R director while being able to work closely with all departments.

Key Responsibilities


  • Developing an understanding of the product/service


  • Investigating potential audience & contextual fits
  • Negotiating inventory and pricing with each programmatic buying vendors
  • Work closely with IT team and deploying pixels to inform and improve on the above
  • Monitor and plan campaigns in each programmatic platform.
  • Works with multiple internal teams including digital media planners, analytics, search, and CRM teams.
  • Relentlessly test new and different ways to improve campaign performance against objective
  • Methodically track test scenarios, record learnings, and share widely across the team
  • Assist in pulling reports that help illuminate optimization/performance highlights or develop a better understanding of the audiences/environments that drive performance
  • Participate in internal team meetings on key topics or with important media/technology partners
  • Embrace new opportunities to learn more about or test new automated buying approaches, platforms, technologies
  • Knowledge and ability to lead setup of internal ad server structure (On DCM preferably)
  • Ability to support the development, planning and implementation of all display and programmatic activations

Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree or above (in business, marketing, computer science or related field).


  • Fluent written and oral English.


  • Ideally 2 years of relevant professional experience managing Programmatic Media Buying platforms such as Criteo, Steelhouse, Adtaxi, etc.


  • Has 1 or 2years experience of DSP or Re-target


  • Understanding of interactive media planning elements with traditional media understanding a plus


  • Previous leadership experience a plus


  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills


  • Excellent communication and writing skills


  • Strong project management skills


  • Strong desire to contribute to a team
