We are looking for a digital marketing expert to join our Digital COE to manage all paid search marketing activities including pay-per-click (PPC). The digital marketer is responsible for the development and execution of the digital properties and marketing activities to enhance our user experience across all digital channels. The role will operate at both planning and tactical level while partnering closely with internal and external teams to build best-in-class digital programs and capabilities to acquire and retain customers via different means of digital marketing. Thorough understanding of customer needs, market trend and competitive positioning would be pre-requisite to achieve success in this role.
The search engine marketing specialist will manage all paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing, as well as other search and display marketing engines. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the SEO and Marketing team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers.
The Job
- Measure and analyze across owned digital properties and paid marketing campaigns to uncover insights to help optimize customer experience and acquisition performance.
- Explore third party partnership for the company.
- Executing tests, collecting and analysing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Manage the creation of large keyword lists
- Tracking reporting and analysing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns
- Managing campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
- Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
- Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network and other facets of paid search
- Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and analyse competitor advertising links
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines and results
The Person
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as SEM with relevant industry experience
- Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
- Prefer understanding of mobile and online web technologies, standards, and best practices - including web analytic tools (like Google Analytics), Adwords and web content management systems
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of SEM/SEO, digital sales funnels, and conversion optimization
- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
- In-depth experience with bid management tools and website analytics tools
- Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Creative thinker
- Good attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
