Smmergate is seeking a highly motivated and passionate digital marketing leader to build and oversee the digital strategy for Summergate, in alignment with the Summergate brand proposition and wider Woolworths Group strategy.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across Summergate’s various online and social media channels with the aim of raising brand awareness.
  • Lead the digital marketing team to manage, execute and monitor all digital campaigns: campaign and events, traffic plan, content, conversion, search etc.
  • Measure, track and report performance metrics of all digital campaigns and channels against ROI and KPI goals.
  • Manage and guide TP’s SEO/SEM strategy, plans and execution of flagship store in Tmall and JD. Evaluate the performance of key metrics like UV, Conversion.
  • Managing the content, PDP and live stream of Tmall and JD store.
  • Managing the redesign of the company website, by improving the usability, design and content to increase engagement levels.
  • Lead effective communication and engagement internally with key stake holders and externally with agency partners.
  • Source / create content and regionalize fit for purpose and fresh for our customers and our owned sites.
  • Create the optimal owned platform in priority market with the tools to recruit, engage and retain.
  • Optimize brick and clicks execution of summergate portfolio (search, brand presence and activity with marketing team).
  • Identify new consumer online trends together with insights manager for potential brand exposure/integration to maximize Summergate brands share of voice.
  • Closely tracking key competitors online activities and promotions, share learning and apply to Summergate brands where relevant.
  • Ride on the trend of new technology development, project management of digital applications (APP/Other new tech solutions, information system and big data), but also able to identify business implications and come up with technology solution with speed.


Required Qualifications

  • 5 + years marketing in digital marketing and advertising;
  • Project management experience (preferably Apps, brand social account, activation). Strong background in data analysis and tools;
  • Sound copy writing and skills and strong analytical skills;
  • Strong leadership in driving results, with high agility that can thrive in starting-up, ambiguous situation;
  • Extensive practice in digital and social marketing on key platform such as WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and LinkedIn;
  • Good team working and communication skills. Willingness to engage and energize others. Can work well with multi-functional partners;
  • Bilingual English / Mandarin communication and writing skills;
  • Experience with social media channels. Ability to work independently and flexibly with strong project management skills;
  • Previous drinks industry or FMCG experience would be an advantage;
  • E-commerce knowledge and keen business sense;
  • Entrepreneurship: Strong desire to create opportunity to drive business growth.
