We are building and maintaining an application on Asset management, Trading and brokerage & Securities Services/Custodial Services for one of the top tier Investment bank and we are looking for Devops as independent contributors and team players.

 

Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for applying your extensive knowledge as a Devops Engineer and help us in our vision to become a reality. You will bring in ability to understand business requirements/process flows/ and come up with workflows and pipelines that would help us achieve our goal.

 

Our Ideal Candidate

Front Office (Portfolio Management and Trading) Level 2 Support Resource. 3+ years’ Experience in a production support, development, or business analyst role, preferably in the Financial Industry. Will assume ownership of problems and driving towards their resolution. Order Management System experience a plus.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

           

• Extensive experience in multiple operating systems - UNIX, Windows, LINUX
• Extensive experience with languages and tools such as Powershell, Bash , Python, ANT , Maven
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and  automation
• Experience in DevOps, SecOps, or SysOps in a large enterprise environment. Should have executed critical projects at the Enterprise level in terms of DevOps, automation and migration design approach model.
• Experience working with Automation tools, Cloud management tools
• Expertise in troubleshooting very complex distributed environments, including following stack traces back to code and come up with a good root cause
• Familiarity with IP networking concepts such as VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewalling.

Your Qualifications

-BE or any Bachelors degree.
-Excellent coding skill in Devops.

-Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
-Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.

-Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
-Prior experience with Agile process

-3+ years in software development.

 

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
