Mission and Purpose

We are responsible for the international conception, development and qualification of online functions with deep integration into the vehicle architecture. In doing so, we rely on forward-looking technologies which enable the communication out of the vehicle with complex IT systems and which allow remote control of vehicle systems using a smartphone application.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Within the scope of Audi Connect there will be an interesting position as function developer for vehicle-oriented services like vehicle access, remote control of vehicle functions like personalization;
• You will be working in a young and dynamic team in the area of integrating the vehicle to its environment;
• Developing of functional concept and technical specifications;
• Alignment an coordination of the development over different departments and within the VW Group;
• Stearing of the development with international suppliers;
• Functional testing and release;
• Your task requests a close communication and collaboration with all development departments and business units within Audi China and AUDI AG;
• The Audi connect services are within an area of conflict like complexity, dynamic premises, regional and market specific technical and legal target, intuitive usability for our customers.

Qualifications

Education Background

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or similar degree

Professional Skills

• Several years of experience in automotive Software-Development
• Experience in vehicle architecture, bus communication, smartphone interfaces, communication technologies, protocols and security

• Strong communication skills
• Excellent initiative, engagement and personal responsibility
• Target oriented and well structured
• Able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
• Flexible and willing to travel within Asia and to Germany
• Resilient and able to deal with complex situations

Language Skills

• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
• Fluent Chinese (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
• German language skills highly preferred
