Mission & Main Tasks:


Plan and coordinate localization projects for local content components and systems

Design, establish requirement, monitor and document changes of new/released parts

Represent Audi TE in local committees for powertrain components and systems

Ensure quality and durability of local content powertrain development

Responsibility (timing, quality) for releasing local content components / systems and projects (PEP)

Evaluate region specific requirements for the Asian market

The position holder serves as a satellite of powertrain development (Audi AG: I/EA) in China and ensures efficient information flow in all directions.


Job Duties:

  • Comprehensive project coordination for localized engine components and systems by choosing suitable methods
Close contact to local content suppliers and engine plants
Frequently consultation with development departments and project management in Europe
Evaluation of production lines together with quality department
Evaluate and define future localization packages
Support in defining methods & processes and create networks in an international environment
  • Ensure quality and durability of local content components/ systems
Define, track and introduce countermeasures in case of deviations or failure at part testing
Change/optimize design according failure anlaysis of test engineer
  • Participate in project related committees


Prepare related information and documentation
Gather related information
Evaluate and report results to related departments
  • Release local content components
Initiate release documentation (Änderungsbegehren)for LC components and systems[P-, B-, K-Release, BMG]
Release LC components and systems with consultancy of responsible test engineer
Track release documentation and change implementation in to production.
  • Transfer of competence and knowledge to colleagues
  • Share and report relevant components and system status information on regular basis to colleagues
  • Lead interns and students


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Engineering degree (Master or PHD) in automotive engineering or respective field

Professional skills:

  • Minimum 3 years in the field of powertrain development
  • good technical knowledge of engines & vehicles
  • good knowledge of part manufacturing and assembling processes
  • good knowledge of CAD/CAX systems (e.g. Creo 2.0)
  • good knowledge of BOM systems (e.g. ECA, SAP)
  • good knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Analytical and conceptional thinking
  • Very good communication skills
  • Team player / self-dependence
  • Toughness / flexibility

Language skills :

  • Chinese Mother Language
  • Having good command of oral and written English
