JOB OBJECTIVE

Support product development in Asia to make sure sample is well executed in terms of aesthetics, quality and timing. To improve communication with vendor, expedite sampling process, improve lead time and sample accuracy. Working across departments to identify issue at sample stage and provide solution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Ensure appropriate communication among various corporate team, AFE team and factory.

- To liaise with Corporate Product Development team to make sure all sample detail well executed.

- Build and maintain sample tracker to ensure sample delivery is on time.

- Make initial correction on sample silhouette, guild the factory to use correct material and tooling.

- Work with Tech team to foresee production issues, provide suggestion to reduce risk.

- Coordinate with SPP team and factory to make sure po detail correctly generated into system.

- Collect on-trend fashion information including materials, ornament from major supplier at beginning of the season.

- Preliminary new factory visit to collect factory information

- Help Technician take final decision if confirm fit samples meet our standards.

- Work in office or at suppliers depending on need.

- Help keep records in our filing system.

-Help coordinate fitting samples - receiving, storing, labeling and dispatching of them.

Key requirement:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field.

- 8+ years in shoe factory or footwear trading company product development (especially for branding leather mens shoes) area,pricing or production management.

- Have sense of fashion and knowing footwear production process,

- Familiar with major material/components supplier.

- Strong problem solving skill.

- Team player and could work under fast-paced environment

- Multi-tasking.

- Good sense of art, color, silhouette.

- Good computer skill on Office application and Email.

- Speak both Mandarin and English fluently, additional language is plus.

- Ability to travel independently in China and other Asian country.
