As a DevOps engineer, you would be responsible for deploying, automating and maintaining the common and standardized infrastructure that all teams at Moat use on a daily basis.

You will be an integral part of the team that owns our cloud systems and the tools that run on them. You would help to manage and maintain our Kubernetes cluster, automated testing and deployment pipelines and standard stack provided to internal teams running on IaaS platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

You will strike a balance between writing automation scripts, deploying and maintaining services, monitoring running systems and collaborating with other teams to help them successfully launch the tools and processes for which they are responsible. You will be responsible for delivering on automation and platform architecture implementation goals, ensuring monitoring and reliability across a number of mission-critical pieces of infrastructure and sharing your knowledge with others.

You will share on-call duty with others in the DevOps group and coordinate with other support teams to ensure that Moat’s servers and systems run smoothly 24/7.

• 4 years devops experience
• Python and Bash experience
• Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) experience
• AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or similar cloud experience
• Linux or Unix environment experience

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
