an enthusiastic, experienced iGCSE DT Teacher to promote the Design and Technology and improve uptake of particularly Design and Technology at A-level. Candidates should have a proven track record of high-quality teaching at iGCSE and A-Level, preferably teaching students with English as a second language, with the ability to use practical activities to enhance learning.

Reporting to the Assistant Head of Upper Senior, the role will involve the planning, preparation, teaching, recording, assessment and reporting required to meet the educational needs of the students. With a team of experienced technicians and a well-resourced department, we pride ourselves on the inclusion of practical lessons as a regular part of the curriculum. Teamwork is an integral part of the department, and we assist each other through peer observations to constantly improve teaching practices. CPD is available to staff through internal and external providers.
