Overall objective of the Position

As part of the project/design team, the candidate will assist senior manager of project management with regards to project and design direction for our prestigious development in China.

Main Responsibilities

Working closely with external design consultants/contractors as well as internal stakeholders such as Sales & Marketing/Operation, he/she will ensure that design objectives of the project are achieved. This includes preparation of design briefs, review & appraisal of consultants’ design proposals, selection of materials, coordination of project/design schedule and budget. He/she will follow-up with the preparation and submission process for any government approvals and other technical supports. Additionally, he/she will also take part in feasibility studies to assess the development potential of new projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

• University education or above; professional degree in Interior design or Architecture.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior/FFE design and project management with a good understanding of design, regulations and the project implementation process.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

• Master planning, MEP and other related design theory knowledge; familiarity with design standards and codes.
• Strong computer literacy in Autocad, Sketch Up, Photoshop and other design/editing software skills.
• Self-discipline, self-motivation and professional work ethics with a hands-on approach, looking to work in a dynamic environment.
• Good team player, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Both Chinese and English in oral and written are essential.
