Deputy Company Secretary (Job ID: 2650)
Responsibilities
- To provide secretarial services to the Bank and group’s companies, including organizing board / committee / shareholders meetings and attending board meetings where necessary.
- To organize and review the preparation and printing of annual / interim reports, announcements, shareholders circulars and other corporate communications
- To monitor submissions, filings and return to various authorities, including but not limited to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities and Futures Commission
- To develop internal policies / practice guidelines / procedure manuals to cope with implementation of the relevant statutes, listing rules and relevant regulatory requirements
- To handle ad hoc projects and oversee other corporate or office administration work as required
- To coach and supervise a team of professional staff
Requirements
- University degree holder
- Associate member of HKICS or equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in company secretarial functions covering the following:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sizeable listed companies
- Minimum of 3 years in senior managers’ grade (or equivalent)
- Proficient in relevant laws and regulations
- Sound technical knowledge and professional expertise
- Proactive, self-motivated, good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese
