Department Manager of Customer Credit

Job Description
The Customer Credit department is responsible for producing credit related inputs in support of TSMC’s foundry business and managing TSMC’s Days Sales Outstanding. The role requires everyday interactions with and responding to daily inquiries from customers, worldwide sales teams, regional offices and various HQ functions. The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate attention to detail, apply good judgment to form well thought out credit conditions/conclusions, work effectively in a team environment and perform certain routine administrative and other ad hoc credit-related tasks to support management decisions.

Qualifications
  • MBA Graduate with excellent English and a solid finance background
  • Minimum 15-year related experiences in banking: Relationship Manager or Account Officer with credit experience is preferred
  • Ability to write analytical commentary and perform analytical work including but not limited to: analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying key credit risks (both financial and non-financial) and initiating deeper credit reviews when necessary
  • A problem solver with can-do, proactive and forward looking attitude; critical/comprehensive thinking, solid verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • High EQ and ability to deal with constructive confrontation
  • Well-developed IT skills including advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to use financial models and software specific to the business
