Job Description
  • Supervises, CO-ordinates and participates with his kitchen staff engaged in the proper cleaning, presentation and cooking of all food stuffs for his respective section.
  • Prepares requisitions of food items based on planned food prepared.
  • Observes and tests food being cooked; samples all food prepared.
  • Utilizes leftover food, converts unconsumed cooked food to other dishes.
  • To check all fridges freezer for correct storage, rotation of all and food items in your section.
  • Checks on requisitioned supplies to determine freshness, quality and quantity.
  • Trains and evaluates performance of his personnel.
  • Ensures that kitchen equipment and utensils are handled and used properly at all times.
  • Ensures that hotel cost controller policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, work areas, and cold rooms, in 
  • CO-ordination with other kitchens or stewarding.


Work Experience
  • Previous experience in similar position and hospitality industry
  • Ability to enabling the team and create healthy work atmosphere
  • Sparkling personality, positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking and business awareness
