The role is to manage a team of internal subordinates and external IT Solution Providers to perform day-to-day solution delivery activities, and be accountable for the solution estimation, quality and efficiency of all HK systems. This role is also accountable for the interface between HK systems and Regional systems, and ensures the successful launch of Regional systems for HK.

Core Responsibilities

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Extensive experience in IT solution delivery, with a minimum of 3 years in a people management role gained from insurance or financial services field.
• Experience in enterprise mobile and web application development, external facing solutions and partner integration (chatbot, wechat, FPS, etc)
• Strong experience in development as technical lead contributing to technical design, providing guidance to developers and ensuring code quality.
• In depth and solid hands-on experience in React JS, Redux, Javascript, HTML/CSS and RESTful API.
• Strong knowledge in wide range of technical landscape and latest technologies i.e. OAuth, Azure, DevOps CICD, Mulesoft API and data lake etc.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Experience in managing external vendors to deliver applications that meet company defined quality standards.
• Strong solution delivery management skills and experience, and a proven track record of implementing multiple medium to large-scale systems in parallel.
• Good communications skills in English and Cantonese.
