Job Description
Here at CiMEC, we are looking for eager and bright minds who would like to be a part of our Cultural Ambassador program. Our program has had more than 300 Western youths that have successfully been a part of our au pair program, which is more than just a "host family" program. Our Cultural Ambassadors learn Chinese and experience many aspects of Chinese culture including Chinese food, along with tutoring the kids in English or other languages as well. They also travel with the families, attend cultural events with peers from various countries. When the program is complete, they bring home their friendships and unique experiences from China.
And now we also cooperate with some famous Chinese educational companies, together we start offering our Cultural Ambassador internship position in order to let them explore more about China.
Our requirements in recruiting Cultural Ambassadors are as follows:
1, Proficient in English (native English speaker or equivalent in English proficiency), with large vocabulary and good pronunciation;
2, Physically and mentally healthy; physician's report required.
3, Prudent in behavior; clean criminal record required;
4, Good sense of responsibility; patient and caring to children;
5, Good mannered; good hygiene;
6, Ages 18-30 preferred;
7, Graduate or gap year undergraduate from top schools/universities a plus;
8, Advantage in fine arts / sports / intercultural experiences /children's education or psychology a plus;
9, Active and takes initiative;
10, Politically moderate; rational and inclusive.
Exclusive benefits for Cultural Ambassadors are, but not limited to:
1, Accommodation and meals (single room or separate apartment);
2, Flight allowance;
3, Basic health insurance and accident insurance;
4, Chinese classes (2 or 3 times a week, 400 class hours a year);
5, Monthly allowance* and bonus**;
