About the Opportunity

You will be part of the leadership team of the Invalid Traffic (IVT) & ad fraud R&D group at Moat. The group consists of data scientists, engineers, and security researchers, and is responsible for all IVT and ad-fraud related R&D in Moat.

 

You will lead an applied research team of highly skilled data scientists that research, develop detection and monitor ad fraud and invalid traffic across multiple platforms. In this position, you will be in charge of the hiring, mentoring, and the professional development of the team, as well as end to end project ownership, projection initiation, design, task prioritization and coordination with other research and engineering teams. This position includes hands-on research and development.

 

 

 

Requirements

• Passion for discovering and stoping large scale ad fraud operations

• 1+ years of experience as a team leader or in a tech/project lead role for a team of 3+ people

• 4+ years of experience in a technical role as a data scientist

• Experience and knowledge of Big Data processing, using tools such as Spark

• Experience solving data related problems using machine learning, advanced algorithms, or graph analysis and processing techniques

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Team player, responsible, delivery-oriented

• M.Sc, PhD, or equivalent research experience in a quantitative field

• Strong software engineering background - an advantage

• Fraud/Security/Technical/ad-tech research knowledge - an advantage

 

Location: Azrieli Center, Tel-Aviv.

Leads a team of people who design, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in an effort to integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Advises business groups by providing direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BA/BS degree preferred.
